In 2010, the ‘Outstanding Achievement’ Award was renamed in honour of the late David Brown, Travelport’s former vice president of sales for Europe, in recognition of his special contribution to the industry. Nominees for this award will be those who have made an outstanding personal contribution to the business travel sector during the last 12 months, for whatever reason. It could be a high profile individual, or someone, who, for example, has simply excelled in one way or another to make a difference within your organisation or in a wider context. This could be for a particularly innovative idea, for saving a significant sum as a result of their efforts, or someone who has triumphed over adversity. It could be a colleague, a client or even your boss.
